A termiticide is applied to the soil around and under your home, creating a treated zone that termites cannot cross.Clover Pest Control uses two types of termiticide — repellent and non-repellent — depending on what’s best for your situation.

Repellent termiticides (BiFlex)
BiFlex contains Bifenthrin as its active ingredient. Termites that come into contact with the treated zone are either repelled or killed on the spot. It’s a proven, cost-effective option that has been used successfully for many years.

Non-repellent termiticides (Termidor)
Termidor is the newer, premium option — and it’s incredibly effective. Because termites can’t detect it in the soil, they unknowingly pass through the treated zone and carry the active ingredient (Fipronil) back to the colony. It then spreads through the nest via normal termite behaviour, eventually eliminating the entire colony. It’s slow-acting by design — and that’s exactly what makes it so powerful.

Stuy will assess your property and recommend the best option for your situation and budget.

Termite Monitoring & Baiting Systems — Sunshine Coast
A termite monitoring and baiting system is a low-impact, eco-friendly way to detect and eliminate termite activity around your home — without digging up your yard or applying chemicals to the soil.

How it works:
Monitoring stations are installed in the ground around your home, usually under the drip line of your gutters. Each station contains timber and cellulose material that attracts foraging termites. Stuy checks the stations regularly — and when termite activity is found, a bait is added to the station.

The bait contains Chlorfluazuron as its active ingredient — a substance so low in toxicity it’s been compared to table salt. As termites feed on the bait, they carry it back to the colony and share it with their nest mates. Over time, the colony is eliminated — safely and without fuss.

All products used by Clover Pest Control are registered under the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA).

You can choose to monitor the stations yourself or have Stuy take care of it for you — whatever suits you best.
Reticulation Systems — Sunshine Coast
A reticulation system is a network of pipes installed in the ground around your home that makes ongoing termite protection simple and hassle-free. Once installed, termiticide (Termidor) can be pumped through the pipes to refresh the chemical barrier — without any digging or disruption to your garden or soil.

It’s an ideal long-term solution for homeowners who want reliable, ongoing termite protection with minimal fuss.

Clover Pest Control can install a brand new reticulation system or service and replenish an existing one.
